14 sept 23 no need for humbleThis topic burns me up. Honestly, it's a trigger because I've been told this many times. Straight... no chaser: If anyone tells you to humble yourself, they likely don't have your best interest at heart. I even dare to say they're speaking from insecurity. Women are natural leaders. But, we're told to step down from our own excellence to appease the lack of confidence in others. Our job? Don't listen. I'm not down for being mean-spirited in any way, but we have to put this whole "be a good girl" indoctrination to bed. We're moving into a different timeline and the shift is palpable. Can you feel it? We have to be at peace with our role as communal, and not just familial, leaders. Matrilineal societies are still a thing, and we can't lead by bowing our heads to others.
